The Bump

Mitchell and I were laughing a few days ago looking at the photo of me in the banner of our blog.  Laughing because there is no way I would ever be able to suck my stomach in enough at this point to look that small.  A couple of weeks ago things just ballooned out!

We haven't really posted any bump photos, so here it is.  5 1/2 months...and no - I am NOT carrying multiples!  You can't tell from this photo, but I can't even do the zipper up on my shorts.  Thank God for Bella Bands - seriously! 

I suppose the big exciting update for the week is that our car seat finally arrived.  It came in much earlier than expected and it felt like Christmas morning taking it out of the box! 

Thankfully, no one was around to watch us struggle to get it out of the base.  10 minutes, and a Youtube video later....we DID IT!

                                    ..... and Mitchell looks so darn handsome carrying it around.

Other than our "apricot" car seat, not much else is new.   I'm still craving cottage cheese and orange juice like nobody's business.  Oh, and veggie trays.  Can't get enough veggie trays.  I can't figure out why the vegetables taste better in the tray than if I had just cut them myself.

Oh - and Kali has taken to laying in dirty puddles on her walks now.  What a gem.
